Our Story
Founded by Elle in the heart of Praia da Luz, Elle Treatment Lounge was created from a simple idea: a calm space right on the sea front, where every treatment feels like a little bit of luxury. After years of working in prestigious spas across the UK and aboard Superyachts abroad, Elle wanted to bring that same level of care and expertise to a space that feels warm, friendly, and beautifully relaxed.
Our team shares that same philosophy. We combine skill, experience, and a personal touch to make sure you feel at ease from the moment you arrive. Whether you’re preparing for a special occasion or just want to treat yourself, you’ll always leave feeling your best.
Our Therapists
Elle Caetano - Owner
Elle is the founder of The Treatment Lounge in the heart of Praia da Luz. She opened the salon in April 2025 after gaining years of experience within the UK beauty industry. Her background includes work in prestigious spas, luxury Superyachts and running her own business, which has given her a wide and polished skill set. After relocating to Portugal almost five years ago, she worked as a bridal hair and makeup artist throughout the Algarve and became known for her warm and professional approach. Elle enjoys every part of the beauty world and has a particular love for skincare. She is trained in the Million Dollar Facial systems and uses this knowledge to create personalised treatments with results that feel both natural and refined.
Caroline Colgan - Massage Therapist
Caroline is a massage therapist originally from Sweden, now living in Lagos with her family. She specialises in Swedish massage, deep tissue therapy, and lymphatic drainage, helping clients restore balance and release tension. Her treatments combine technique, intuition, and calm energy to deliver both relaxation and visible results. Caroline’s goal is to make every client feel cared for, renewed, and completely at ease from the moment they arrive.
Isa Mara - Nail Technician
Isa is a gel, acrygel, and nail extension specialist from Lagos, Portugal. Since beginning her training in 2016, she has earned more than 10 certifications and continues to refine her craft through new techniques and innovations. Her passion lies in creating nails with a natural and sophisticated finish, combining beauty, durability, and personalised care. Every appointment with Isa is designed to feel truly luxurious and relaxing, with attention to every detail. She believes each client deserves exclusive care, impeccable results, and a moment to unwind. Her work reflects that belief, blending quality, elegance, and well-being in every session.
Abbie Gilbert - Lash & Brow Technician
Abbie is a lash and brow specialist with a true passion for enhancing natural beauty and helping clients feel their most confident. Since starting her career in 2019, she has focused on creating flawless, natural results through expert precision and care. Originally from the UK and now based in the Algarve, Abbie continues to refine her craft with the latest techniques and trends in lash and brow artistry.
